The Old Forge House in rural West Mersea offers a range of holiday accommodation.

The original part of the house was built in the 1600’s and it’s most famous occupant was W Heath-Robinson, the well-known cartoonist and illustrator of eccentric machines, who lived here from 1913 to 1920.

The Old Forge House offers a haven of peace and tranquility in a rural setting while still being only 5 minutes from the waterside activities and restaurants. Perfect for a relaxing break in the North Essex countryside!
